Penta adopts automated video interviewing for job candidates

Geneva- and Dubai-based private cloud computing supplier Penta has opted for Sonru – an internationally recognized video interviewing solution – to manage its talent acquisition process.

Sonru’s video selection tool replaces first round phone and on-site interviews, allowing the recruiting team to post interview questions online and then invite candidates to complete the asynchronous video interview in their own time from their computer or mobile device.

The introduction of Sonru will enable Penta to interview candidates from a very geographically diverse base stretching from Europe to the Middle East. It will also make the sourcing process quicker and more efficient, helping to find best skilled candidates without the need of thorough CV vetting and call interviews. Sonru will be introduced later this year together with expected new job openings at Penta.

Penta COO Hossein Fezzazi said: “At Penta we are committed to continuously improve our performance by deploying the latest technology, also internally. The decision to opt for Sonru results from our company’s constant development and the need to select the best candidates across a very diverse geographical base. Video interviewing fits perfectly into our international recruitment process.”

“We are delighted to work with Penta and to assist with the company’s continuous development,” said Sonru Founder and CEO Edward Hendrick. “We are seeing more and more companies embracing video interviewing and recognizing the huge impact it can have on their recruitment process and we are confident that Sonru will help Penta select the best candidates to add value to the organization and further expand their services.”
